Delicious and versatile Latin American dish of red beans and rice, perfect as a side or main.
Ingredients:
  • 3 (15 ounce) cans dark red beans, drained
  • 3 cups uncooked long-grain white rice
  • 6 cups water
Instructions:
  • In a large pan, bring water and beans to a boil. Stir in rice, cover, and simmer until rice is tender, about 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
