Tangy mustard dressing elevates this flavorful pasta salad with ham and crisp veggies.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups uncooked small pasta shells (14 oz)
  • 2 cups chopped cooked ham
  • 2 cups chopped unpeeled cucumbers
  • 1 cup finely chopped carrots
  • 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green onions (8 medium)
  • 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain the pasta and rinse with cold water to cool before draining well.
  • In a large bowl, combine the remaining salad ingredients. In a separate small bowl, whisk together all dressing ingredients until thoroughly blended.
  • Combine the cooked pasta with the salad, drizzle the dressing over it, and toss until everything is well coated. Serve right away or chill in the fridge until ready to enjoy.
