Indulge in cheesy garlic bread wreath for a savory treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 loaf (1 pound) frozen white bread dough (from 3-pound package), thawed
  • 1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil
  • 1 small clove garlic, finely chopped
Instructions:
  • Prepare baking sheet by greasing it. Spray the outer surface of a 6-ounce custard cup with cooking spray, then place it upside down in the center of the baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of cheese over a flat surface. Roll the bread dough in the cheese into a 24-inch rope. Place the rope on a cookie sheet and shape it into a circle around a custard cup, then pinch the ends to seal.
  • Using kitchen scissors, make cuts in the dough at 1 1/2-inch intervals from the outer edge of the circle, going two-thirds of the way through. Lift and fold every other section of dough towards the center. Cover and allow to rise in a warm place for 2 to 3 hours until doubled in size (Dough is ready when an indentation remains when touched).
  • Preheat oven to 350°. Brush dough with garlic-infused oil and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons cheese. Bake until golden brown, about 25-30 minutes. Remove custard cup before serving.
