Garlic bread mini quiches

Try mini quiches with flattened bread instead of pastry for a unique twist.
Ingredients:
  • 12 white bread sandwich slices, crusts removed
  • 25g garlic butter, melted
  • 40.00 ml grated tasty cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp Parsley Flakes
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 200C/180C fan-forced and prepare a 12-hole patty pan by greasing it.
  • Lay down a slice of bread and gently flatten it with a rolling pin. Cut out a round shape using a 6.5cm cookie cutter. Repeat with the rest of the bread slices. Place the bread rounds in the prepared pan and brush with melted garlic butter. Bake until lightly golden, about 8 minutes.
  • Distribute cheese evenly in bread cases. Combine egg, parsley, and remaining melted garlic butter in a jug. Season with salt and pepper. Pour mixture over cheese. Bake until golden and set, about 10-12 minutes. Allow to cool for 4 minutes in pan before serving.
