Creamy cheese grits topped with savory shrimp, garlic-infused cheese, and fresh tomatoes.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup uncooked grits
  • 6 ounces garlic flavored processed cheese, cubed
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 2 pounds fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 0.5 lemon, juiced
Instructions:
  • Prepare the grits following the instructions on the package. Gently mix in cubed cheese and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Keep warm on low heat.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, combine butter and olive oil. Sauté garlic and tomato until tomato starts to soften. Add shrimp and lemon juice, cooking until shrimp turn pink and opaque. Season with salt to taste.
  • Spread creamy, warm grits on a elegant serving platter and smother with flavorful shrimp mixture.
