Succulent garlic chilli prawn pasta bursting with flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 200g dried angel hair pasta
  • 75.08 gm extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 2.40 gm salt
  • 400g green prawns, peeled, tails intact (see shortcut)
  • 65.63 gm lemon juice
  • 62.50 ml finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
  • Extra virgin olive oil, to serve
Instructions:
  • Boil pasta in a large pot of salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and cover to keep warm.
  • In a large, deep frying pan over medium-high heat, heat oil until shimmering. Add garlic, chili, and salt, and cook, stirring, for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant. Toss in the prawns and cook, stirring, for 3 to 4 minutes until they turn pink and are nearly cooked through.
  • Toss pasta, lemon juice, parsley, and prawns in the pan for 1 minute until combined and prawns are cooked through. Drizzle with oil before serving.
