Make garlic confit for versatile flavor enhancement - perfect for potatoes, pasta, garlic bread, or veggies.
Ingredients:
  • 2 bulbs garlic
  • 0.75 cup pure olive oil
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme
Instructions:
  • Prepare garlic bulbs by cutting off the tops. Place them on a clean surface and use a large knife to press down firmly to separate cloves. Remove and discard the skins.
  • In a tiny pot, combine oil, garlic, and thyme. Heat over medium until bubbles appear. Lower the heat and simmer until garlic is softened but not browned, 20 to 25 minutes (adjust for garlic size). Allow it to cool at room temperature for 15 to 30 minutes.
  • Pour the mixture into a sterilized jar, seal it, and refrigerate.
