Elevate spaghetti squash with garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes for a flavorful twist on Chinese stir-fry base.
Ingredients:
  • 1 spaghetti squash, halved and seeded
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger root
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon red chile flakes
  • kosher salt to taste
Instructions:
  • Heat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a baking dish, arrange spaghetti squash halves cut-side up. Mix butter, olive oil, honey, ginger, garlic, and chile flakes in a small bowl. Spread the mixture evenly over the squash, ensuring to pour any excess in the center. Lightly sprinkle with kosher salt before baking.
  • Bake in the oven preheated to perfection until tender, approximately 60 minutes.
  • Using two forks, delicately separate the squash into strands, then combine with the flavorful seasoned butter inside each squash. Enjoy while warm.
