Decadent caramel-filled German chocolate bars - a handheld twist on the classic cake!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (14 ounce) package individually wrapped caramels, unwrapped
  • 0.33333334326744 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package German chocolate cake mix
  • 0.75 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, heat caramels with 1/3 cup of condensed milk until melted, stirring every 30 seconds. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, melted butter, and 1/2 cup condensed milk until well combined. Spread half of this mixture in the prepared pan.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 6-8 minutes.
  • Take out of the oven and generously top with caramel, chocolate chips, and nuts. Add the remaining cake mix on top and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
