Betty's easy scalloped potatoes are a game-changer for this classic October dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 6 fully cooked bratwurst (1 to 1 1/2 pound)
  • 1 box (4.7 oz) Betty Crocker™ scalloped potatoes
  • 2 3/4 cups hot water
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • Paprika, if desired
Instructions:
  • In a 10-inch skillet over medium heat, sizzle the bratwurst in oil until golden brown, turning occasionally. Then transfer the bratwurst to drain.
  • In a skillet, combine Potatoes, Sauce Mix, and hot water. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring occasionally. Then, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are tender.
  • Add vinegar to the mixture and then arrange the bratwurst on top of the potatoes. Cover and let it simmer for about 3 more minutes until everything is heated through. Finish by sprinkling paprika on top.
