German Sweet Chocolate Pie

Simple frozen German chocolate mousse made velvety with cream cheese and frozen whipped topping.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (4 ounce) bar German sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 0.33300000429153 cup milk
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust
Instructions:
  • In a large microwave-safe bowl, microwave the chocolate and 2 tablespoons of milk on HIGH for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes until the chocolate is almost melted, stirring halfway through. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
  • Blend in cream cheese, sugar, and remaining milk with a wire whisk until smooth. Chill for 10 minutes. Carefully mix in 3 1/2 cups of whipped topping until fully combined. Fill the crust with the mixture.
  • Chill pie in the freezer for 4 hours. Allow it to sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before slicing. Top with the rest of the whipped topping when serving. Keep the pie stored in the freezer.
