Classic German veal schnitzel with crispy breading.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds veal
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups bread crumbs
  • 0.125 cup oil for frying
Instructions:
  • Cut the veal into steaks the thickness of your finger. Coat in flour. In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, 1 tablespoon oil, salt, and pepper. Dredge the veal in the egg mixture, followed by bread crumbs.
  • In a heavy skillet over medium heat, heat up 1/4 cup of oil until shimmering. Cook veal until it turns a beautiful golden brown on each side, approximately 5 minutes per side.
