Indulge in giant chocolate chip cookies perfect for the whole family!
Ingredients:
  • 240g unsalted butter
  • 300g (1 1/2 cups) firmly packed soft brown sugar
  • 4.40 gm vanilla extract
  • 300g (2 cups) plain flour
  • 1.25 gm bicarbonate of soda
  • 350g milk chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 190°C for the perfect baking temperature.
  • Prepare two large baking sheets by lining them with non-stick baking paper.
  • In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream butter and sugar on high speed until pale, for about 5 minutes. Mix in the egg and vanilla for another minute. Sift in the flour and bicarbonate of soda, add a pinch of salt, then gently fold with a wooden spoon until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips. Shape 2 tablespoons of dough into a ball and flatten it on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Leave space between each for spreading. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 15-20 minutes until the edges start to turn golden. Use a palette knife to transfer biscuits to a wire rack to cool after removing from the oven. Enjoy!
