Elevate your cookie game with a double dose of oats using "O's" cereal and rolled oats for extra crunch and flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup quick-cooking or old-fashioned oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups Cheerios™ cereal
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar using an electric mixer until well combined. Mix in oil, vanilla, and eggs until smooth. Gradually add flour, oats, baking soda, and salt on low speed until dough forms. Gently fold in cereal until incorporated.
  • Take 1/3 cup of dough for each cookie and roll into a ball. Place the dough balls 2 inches apart on 2 ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until light brown. Cool for 2 minutes, then transfer from the cookie sheets to cooling racks. Let cool completely, approximately 20 minutes, before storing in a tightly covered container.
