Impress with a show-stopping OREO Cookie cake that tastes just as delicious as it looks.
Ingredients:
  • 1 package (2-layer size) devil's food cake mix
  • 4 ounces semi-sweet baking chocolate
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 2 cups thawed frozen whipped topping
  • 12 OREO Cookies, coarsely crushed
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Prepare the cake batter as directed on the package and divide it between 2 (9-inch) round pans. Bake as per package instructions. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then invert them onto wire racks, gently remove the pans, and cool the cakes completely.
  • Heat chocolate and butter in a small microwave-safe bowl on high for 2 minutes until butter is melted. Stir well until chocolate is completely melted. Let it cool for 5 minutes. While waiting, mix cream cheese and sugar in a large bowl using a mixer until well blended. Carefully fold in whipped topping and crushed cookies.
  • Place each cake layer on a plate, generously filling with luxurious cream cheese mixture. Coat the top with decadent chocolate glaze and allow it to set for 10 minutes until beautifully firm. Refrigerate to enjoy later.
