Delicious homemade granola with oats, sunflower seeds, cashews, ginger, honey, maple syrup, and a hint of cardamom. Perfect for breakfast or snacking.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33333334326744 cup raw honey
  • 0.33333334326744 cup coconut oil
  • 0.33333334326744 cup grade B maple syrup
  • 2 cups multigrain hot cereal (such as Country Choice®)
  • 1 cup steel-cut oats
  • 1 cup salted sunflower kernels
  • 1 cup cashew pieces
  • 0.25 cup chopped peeled ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Combine honey, coconut oil, and maple syrup in a saucepan and gently melt together over low heat for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring until fully combined.
  • Mix cereal, oats, sunflower kernels, cashews, ginger, cardamom, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Coat the mixture with honey, stirring well. Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet.
  • Bake until beautifully golden brown in the preheated oven for approximately 40 minutes.
