Ingredients:
  • 4 limes
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 (9 inch) baked pie shell
  • 0.5 cup lime marmalade
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) for the perfect baking temperature.
  • Start by zesting the vibrant lime to release its citrusy essence, then squeeze the refreshing juice from all four limes. Mix the zesty lime elements with cream, sugar, eggs, egg yolks, and a touch of ginger in a spacious bowl. Vigorously whisk the mixture until perfectly blended, then pour it into the awaiting crust.
  • Place the dish in the oven until it is firm and cooked through, approximately 45 minutes. Allow it to cool for a bit before serving.
  • Heat the lime marmalade over low heat until melted, then let it cool for about 5 minutes. Pour the melted lime marmalade over the warm tart, spread it out evenly, and let it cool completely before slicing and serving.
