Ginger-Cranberry Shortbread Wedges

Indulge in a decadent buttery cookie with just 6 simple ingredients - no extra tools required!
Ingredients:
  • 2/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped crystallized ginger
  • 1 1/3 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, cream together butter, powdered sugar, and ginger using an electric mixer on medium speed or mix with a spoon. Gently fold in the flour and cranberries.
  • Shape the dough into a 9-inch circle on an ungreased cookie sheet, then generously sprinkle with granulated sugar.
  • Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until beautifully golden. Allow to cool for 10 minutes on the cookie sheet placed on a wire rack. Cut into 16 delicious wedges.
