Indulge in zesty homemade scones with a touch of spice, drizzled with lemon glaze for an irresistible treat!
Ingredients:
  • 2 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup molasses
  • 1/4 cup whipping cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 425°F and generously coat a cookie sheet with cooking spray.
  • Combine gingerbread ingredients in a large bowl until a soft dough forms. Roll the dough in Bisquick mix on a surface to coat, then shape it into a ball and knead 10 times. Pat the dough into an 8-inch round on a cookie sheet and cut into 8 wedges without separating them.
  • Bake for 13-15 minutes until golden brown and firm.
  • In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar, butter, and lemon peel. Stir in lemon juice until the glaze is smooth. Drizzle over the wedges, separate them carefully, and serve warm.
