Glazed Almond Sugar Cookies

Try these delicious almond sugar cookies for a festive holiday treat!
Ingredients:
  • Reynolds™ Parchment Paper
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup chopped slivered almonds
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 3 to 7 teaspoons half and half or milk
  • 1/3 cup almond slices, toasted if desired
Instructions:
  • Create cookie dough by mixing together cookie mix, butter, almonds, extract, and egg until a smooth dough is achieved.
  • Shape dough into approximately 40 (1-inch) balls. Arrange them evenly spaced on cookie sheets lined with Reynolds Parchment Paper. Bake at 375°F for 7 to 9 minutes until firm. Allow cookies to cool on racks until completely cooled.
  • Combine powdered sugar, 1/4 teaspoon extract, and a splash of milk in a small bowl until a thick, spreadable glaze forms. Spread the glaze on each cookie and top with 3 almond slices.
