Create a healthier, gluten-free fruit mince for Christmas. Begin a week ahead for the best taste.
Ingredients:
  • 255.00 gm sultanas
  • 250.00 ml dried pitted dates, chopped
  • 125.00 ml dried apricots, chopped
  • 125.00 ml currants
  • 2 tsp finely grated orange rind
  • 65.63 gm orange juice
  • 62.50 ml brandy
  • 3.75 gm mixed spice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 star anise
  • 168.75 gm pure maple syrup
Instructions:
  • Combine all ingredients in a sealed container, stir well, and cover. Let sit in a cool, dark place for at least 1 week, stirring every 2 days to enhance flavors.
