Sparkling champagne infused with floral hibiscus tea for a sophisticated and refreshing drink.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 hibiscus-raspberry herbal tea bags
  • 2 tablespoons Hibiscus Tea Simple Syrup
  • 4 oz chilled champagne or sparkling wine
  • Raspberries or lemon twist, if desired
Instructions:
  • In a 1-quart saucepan, combine sugar and water. Heat over medium-high heat until boiling, stirring to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat, steep tea bags for 5 minutes, then let it cool for 1 hour. Transfer to a container, cover, and chill in the fridge for up to 1 week. Yield: 1 1/2 cups.
  • Pour 2 tablespoons of simple syrup into a champagne flute, then fill it up with champagne. Finally, decorate with raspberries or a lemon twist for an elegant touch.
