Gluten-Free Holiday Toffee Bars

Create scrumptious gluten-free cookies with Bisquick™ Gluten Free pancake & baking mix.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 cups Bisquick™ Gluten Free pancake & baking mix
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and generously spray a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray. Combine butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and egg yolk in a large bowl, then mix in Bisquick™ mix. Press mixture into the pan evenly.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and soft. As soon as it's done, scatter chocolate chips on top and allow them to melt for about 5 minutes. Gently spread the chocolate evenly and sprinkle with nuts. Let it cool in the pan for 30 minutes on a rack and then cut into bars. Enjoy your delicious treat!
