Modern gluten-free twist on classic brisket recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 lb fresh beef brisket (not corned beef)
  • 1 can (18.5 oz) Progresso™ Vegetable Classics French onion soup
  • 12 gluten-free buns
  • 12 slices Swiss cheese
  • Additional soup, as desired
Instructions:
  • Combine garlic salt, onion powder, and salt in a small bowl. Massage the seasoning mixture onto the beef. Lightly coat a 5- to 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray before placing the seasoned beef inside. Pour 1 cup of the soup over the beef.
  • Simply cover and simmer on low heat for 8 to 10 hours.
  • Take the beef out of the slow cooker and skim off any excess fat from the juices. Using two forks, shred the beef and combine it with the reserved juices and remaining soup. Fill buns with the beef mixture and add cheese on top. Enjoy the sliders with a side of soup.
