Try a Gold Rush cocktail - a whiskey sour with honey syrup for a delicious twist.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups ice
  • 2 fluid ounces bourbon
  • 3/4 fluid ounces honey syrup
  • 3/4 fluid ounces fresh lemon juice
  • lemon twist, for garnish
Instructions:
  • Combine honey and water in a saucepan over medium heat until the honey is dissolved. Cool completely. Add a splash of water, if needed, to reach a total volume of 3 fluid ounces.
  • Place 1 cup of ice in a cocktail shaker. Add bourbon, honey syrup, and lemon juice. Shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds until chilled. Fill a rocks glass with fresh ice or a large ice sphere, then strain the cocktail over the ice. Garnish with a lemon twist before serving.
