Golden Glow Candy Wreath

Elevate your festival celebrations with a dazzling golden candy wreath.
Ingredients:
  • 1 coat hanger
  • Wire cutters
  • Cloth tape (duct tape)
  • Embroidery floss or thin all-purpose string, about 3 1/2 yards
  • 2 pounds butterscotch or gold-foil wrapped hard candies
  • String of small battery-powered lights
  • Gold ribbon, if desired
  • Gold pearl beads or charms, if desired
Instructions:
  • Trim coat hanger at base of hook with wire cutters, leaving about 3 feet of wire. Shape wire into an 8-inch circle, twisting ends back around circle. Use tape to secure ends to the circle.
  • Secure 3 candy wrappers to a wire circle by tying a 6-inch piece of floss around them. Alternate placing candies on the wire circle, both inside and outside, continuing in the same manner.
  • Entwine string lights within wreath to craft a radiant halo of candy. Embellish wreath with elegant gold ribbon and shimmering beads.
