Decadent and delicious rich cake, perfect with a glass of milk or coffee. Easily transform it into a Chocolate Gooey Butter Cake by substituting a chocolate cake mix for the yellow.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) while you generously butter a 9x13 inch cake pan.
  • Gently melt the butter. Combine it with 2 eggs and the cake mix. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. In another bowl, whisk the remaining 2 eggs with cream cheese and confectioner's sugar. Pour this mixture evenly over the first layer without stirring.
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake for 45 minutes.
