Indulgent gooey butter cake with a velvety cream cheese layer, easy to make and irresistibly golden.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs, divided
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, divided
  • 4 cups confectioners' sugar
Instructions:
  • Collect all the ingredients needed and preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine cake mix, butter, 2 eggs, and 1 teaspoon vanilla in a large bowl until thoroughly mixed. Press mixture into a 9x13-inch dish.
  • Combine cream cheese, 2 eggs, and 1 teaspoon vanilla using an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually blend in confectioner's sugar, then pour over the cake layer.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool before serving. Enjoy!
