Wholesome granola bars: coconut, oats, honey, peanut butter. Easy and delicious snack anytime.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 0.5 cup shredded coconut
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Prepare your ingredients. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and generously grease a 9-inch square baking dish.
  • Evenly spread oats and coconut on a baking sheet and toast in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 10 minutes. Transfer to a big mixing bowl.
  • In a saucepan over gentle heat, combine honey, peanut butter, vanilla, and salt. Stir and cook until velvety.
  • Drizzle the honey mixture over the oats and coconut, ensuring everything is evenly coated. Gently stir to combine before spreading the mixture evenly in the baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes until the granola bars begin to dry out, or for a shorter time if you prefer them chewy.
  • Allow the dish to completely chill before slicing.
