Greek-Style Tuna Salad Sandwiches

Elevate your tuna sandwich with a Greek twist!
Ingredients:
  • 1 can (12 oz) tuna, drained, flaked
  • 1/2 cup chopped drained roasted red bell peppers (from 7-ounce jar)
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese or shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 medium stalk celery, chopped (1/2 cup)
  • 1 loaf (1 lb) French bread
  • 1/4 cup Italian dressing
Instructions:
  • Combine tuna, bell peppers, cheese, and celery in a medium bowl.
  • Cut the bread into four 4-inch pieces and then slice each piece horizontally in half. Hollow out the center of each slice to create space for fillings, discarding or saving the excess bread for later use.
  • Drizzle dressing over cut sides of bread, then spread. Fill each sandwich with 1/2 cup tuna mixture. Enjoy right away or wrap tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
