Ingredients:
  • 5 small unripe (green) bananas
  • 1 quart oil for frying, or as needed
  • salt to taste
Instructions:
  • Peel the unripe bananas using a knife and slice into long thin wedges or strings to create banana fries.
  • Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat or preheat a deep-fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Fry banana fries until golden brown, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain on paper towels, pat dry, season with salt, and serve hot.
