Bacon-infused green beans with garlic and red pepper flakes for a zesty side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 10 slices bacon, diced
  • 1 tablespoon crushed garlic
  • 0.5 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen whole green beans
Instructions:
  • Fry bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until crispy. Remove bacon with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel-lined plate. Save 2 tablespoons of grease in the skillet, discarding the rest.
  • In the bacon grease, sauté garlic and red pepper flakes over medium-high heat until fragrant, approximately 1 minute. Add green beans, season with salt and pepper, and cook until tender with a slight crunch, about 10 minutes. Finally, mix in the bacon before serving.
