Succulent green bean bundles wrapped in bacon, drizzled with savory Worcestershire sauce, steamed and baked to perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 10 slices bacon
  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 1 cube beef bouillon
  • 4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) for a perfect bake.
  • In a spacious skillet, lay out the bacon strips. Cook over medium-high heat until partially done. Drain the grease, then halve each piece of bacon and keep aside.
  • 1. Boil a large pot of water. 2. Place green beans in a steamer basket above the boiling water. Cover with a lid to trap the steam. 3. Steam until green beans are tender. Set aside. 4. Reserve 2 cups of the water and dissolve the bouillon cube in it.
  • Wrap 4 or 5 green beans with a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick if needed, and arrange in a shallow baking dish.
  • Combine reserved stock, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, butter, brown sugar, and garlic powder in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
  • Drizzle the sauce over the bundles and bake in a preheated 350°F (175°C) oven for 20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.
