Delicious panko-Parmesan coated green bean fries served with spicy Sriracha mayo for dipping.
Ingredients:
  • 8 ounces fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 large egg white
  • 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt, divided
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper, divided
  • 0.5 cup seasoned panko bread crumbs
  • 0.25 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • olive oil cooking spray
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions:
  • Rinse the green beans and pat dry.
  • In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs and egg white until they are lightly frothy. Then, whisk in 1/4 teaspoon each of salt and pepper.
  • Mix together seasoned and regular panko, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and the remaining salt and pepper in a separate shallow bowl until well combined.
  • Lightly coat a third of the beans with the egg mixture, then generously coat with the bread crumb mixture. Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket and lightly spray with olive oil.
  • Air-fry beans at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 6 minutes until they are golden and crunchy.
  • Continue the process by coating the remaining beans and air-frying them as well.
  • Combine creamy mayonnaise with spicy Sriracha and tangy lemon juice in a small bowl until the mixture is perfectly blended. Enjoy the delicious dip with the crispy air-fried green beans.
