Create a flavorful marinade with soy sauce, balsamic vinaigrette, onion, and garlic for a delicious grilled flank steak.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 0.25 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1.5 pounds flank steak
Instructions:
  • Combine onion, garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, rosemary, salt, and pepper and whisk in a mixing bowl.
  • Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag and pour in the marinade, ensuring the steak is fully coated. Remove any excess air from the bag, seal it, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 days.
  • Get the outdoor grill ready by preheating it to medium-high heat and giving the grate a light oil coating.
  • Take out the steak from the marinade and gently shake off any extra liquid, while keeping the marinade aside.
  • Grill steak for 6 to 8 minutes per side, brushing with marinade, until firm, hot in the center, and the color changes from pink to grey. Let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly across the grain. Make sure the internal temperature reaches 150°F (65°C) using a thermometer.
