Grilled beef wraps

Quick, easy, and delicious family meal for busy weeknights.
Ingredients:
  • 20.00 ml balsamic vinegar
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 2 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 2.50 gm paprika
  • 3 x Drovers Choice Rump Steak 230g
  • 8 white wraps
  • 500.00 ml shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 4 tomatoes, cut into thin wedges
  • 1 small red onion, finely sliced
  • 200g tzatziki
Instructions:
  • Preheat your barbecue grill or chargrill to medium-high heat. Mix vinegar, oil, garlic, thyme, and paprika in a shallow glass or ceramic dish. Coat the beef with the marinade, allowing it to sit for 5 minutes and flipping it once to marinate evenly.
  • Remove beef from marinade and place it on the grill. Cook for 2 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or until desired level of doneness is achieved. Let it rest on a board before serving.
  • Heat the wraps on the grill for about 1 minute on each side. Transfer them to a clean tea towel and loosely wrap to keep warm while heating the rest of the wraps.
  • Savor the juicy beef slices, skillfully cut against the grain. Enjoy by wrapping them in lettuce with fresh tomato, onion, and a dollop of creamy tzatziki.
