Grilled Bisquick® Margherita Pizza

Whip up a speedy pizza on the grill using Bisquick mix in just 30 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix, plus additional for kneading dough
  • 1/3 cup very warm water (120°F to 130°F)
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce, or 4 sliced plum (Roma) tomatoes
  • 7 to 10 slices fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions:
  • Prepare the grill by spraying the rack with cooking spray or brushing it with oil, then heat the grill.
  • Combine 1 1/2 cups of Bisquick mix with very warm water in a large bowl. Stir until a soft dough forms after 20 strokes. Knead the dough for 2 to 3 minutes on a surface dusted with Bisquick mix until no longer sticky. Roll or press the dough into a 12-inch circle of uniform thickness for even cooking.
  • Grill dough over medium heat until bottom is browned, then flip. Top with sauce and cheese, grill covered until cheese melts. Finish with fresh basil and a drizzle of olive oil.
