Indulgent dessert featuring enticing figs.
Ingredients:
  • 8 fresh figs
  • 25g blanched almonds, finely chopped
  • 40.00 gm brown sugar
  • 1.25 gm ground cinnamon
  • 200g fresh ricotta
  • 28.60 gm honey
  • 2.20 gm vanilla essence
Instructions:
  • Heat up the grill on medium-high heat.
  • Prepare the figs by trimming the stems and making a cut halfway into the top of each one to open them up. Arrange the figs in a shallow ovenproof dish. Mix the almonds, brown sugar, and cinnamon together. Stuff each fig with the almond mixture, distributing evenly.
  • Grill figs under preheated grill until sugar begins to bubble, about 4-5 minutes, positioning them about 8cm from the heat source.
  • In a medium bowl, combine ricotta, honey, and vanilla essence. Mix with a wooden spoon until smooth. Serve the figs and honey ricotta on serving plates immediately.
