Create homemade pork sausages with ease.
Ingredients:
  • 600g pork mince
  • 2cm piece fresh ginger, grated
  • olive oil cooking spray
  • 225g can pineapple rings, drained, halved
  • 500.00 ml shredded green cabbage
  • 1/2 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 125.00 ml marinated red capsicum strips
  • 39.60 gm mayonnaise
  • 4 pita breads, warmed, quartered
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, combine pork and ginger. Season with salt and pepper, then mix together using your hands. Shape the mixture into eight 8cm-long sausages, using 1/4 cup of the mixture for each sausage.
  • Prepare the barbecue plate or chargrill with a light coating of oil. Grill the sausages for 10 to 12 minutes, turning occasionally, until fully cooked. Then, add the pineapple slices and grill each side for 1 minute until heated through.
  • Combine cabbage, onion, capsicum, and mayonnaise in a bowl. Mix well. Serve sausages with cabbage mixture, pineapple, and pita breads.
