Experience the flavors of Greece with feta, olives, tomatoes, and garlic in your own backyard!
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 6 drops red pepper sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh or 2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
  • 3 green onions, sliced (3 tablespoons)
  • 2 medium tomatoes, seeded, coarsely chopped (1 1/2 cups)
  • 1/3 package (48-oz size) frozen pizza dough & Italian bread (1 loaf), thawed
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 oz)
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese (2 oz)
  • 10 kalamata olives, cut in half, pitted
Instructions:
  • Combine oil, salt, pepper sauce, and garlic in a small bowl, setting aside 1 tablespoon. Add basil, onions, and tomatoes to the remaining oil mixture. Mix well and let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes, covered.
  • Preheat gas or charcoal grill. Divide dough in half and roll each half into an 8-inch round on a floured surface. Grill the dough rounds over medium heat with the lid on for 1 to 2 minutes until the crusts start to brown on the bottom.
  • Place grill crusts browned sides up on an ungreased cookie sheet. Brush on reserved oil mixture. Add tomato mixture, cheeses, and olives evenly on top.
  • Transfer the pizzas from the cookie sheet to the grill. Close the grill lid and cook for 2 to 4 minutes until the crusts are golden brown and the cheese is melted. (If the crusts brown too quickly, use a piece of foil between the crusts and the grill.)
