Elevate your burgers with gooey cheese, spicy chiles, and zesty taco sauce grilled inside.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons from 1 can (4 oz) Old El Paso™ Chopped Green Chiles, drained
  • 8 slices pepper Jack cheese, 2x1x1/4 inch (about 4 oz)
  • 4 kaiser rolls, split
  • 1/4 cup from 1 bottle (9 oz) Old El Paso™ Mild Taco Sauce
Instructions:
  • Preheat the grill and in a medium bowl, combine the beef, onion, and chiles. Form the mixture into 8 thin patties. Place 2 slices of cheese on each of 4 patties, then place the remaining patties on top and press the edges to seal.
  • Grill patties over medium heat until slightly firm when pressed in center, turning once (14 to 16 minutes). Toast rolls, cut sides down, for last 4 minutes of grilling. Serve patties on rolls with taco sauce.
