Tropical Jamaican-inspired recipe with a spicy kick!
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme leaves or 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound turkey breast tenderloins
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/4 cup mango chutney
Instructions:
  • Prepare the grill for direct heat and spray a 9-inch sheet of aluminum foil with cooking spray. Combine thyme, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, black pepper, and red pepper; season both sides of the turkey with the mixture. Place the seasoned turkey on the foil, add the onion and bell pepper on top, then cover with another 9-inch sheet of foil and seal the packet by folding the edges together.
  • Grill the packet 4 inches from medium heat for 20 minutes. Open the packet and take out the turkey while keeping the vegetable mixture warm. Grill the turkey for an additional 4 to 5 minutes until the outside is golden brown and the juices run clear. Slice the tenderloin in half. Set aside half of the turkey for the Turkey-Brown Rice Pilaf. Thinly slice the rest of the turkey and serve topped with the vegetable mixture and chutney.
