Savor the burst of flavor in this quick and easy grilled lemon chicken coated with butter, seasonings, and fresh lemon juice.
Ingredients:
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 lemons, cut into wedges
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, melted, divided
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar, or more to taste
Instructions:
  • Pierce chicken all over with a knife or fork, then coat chicken pieces with lemon, squeezing the juice out; save the rest for grilling.
  • In a bowl, mix together salt, garlic, paprika, and pepper. Brush chicken with half of the melted butter, then sprinkle with half of the seasoning mixture.
  • Prepare the outdoor grill by preheating it to medium heat and greasing the grate lightly with oil.
  • Grill the chicken for 7 to 10 minutes, then flip and add lemon juice, butter, and seasonings. Continue grilling for an additional 8 to 10 minutes until fully cooked, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Right before serving, lightly dust the chicken with sugar. Grill the cooked chicken for an additional 2 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
