Mouthwatering Mediterranean sliders with feta, olives, Greek dressing, and oregano.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese (2 oz)
  • 1/4 cup sliced ripe olives
  • 1/4 cup Greek vinaigrette dressing
  • 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 8 mini burger buns (about 2 1/2 inches in diameter), split
  • Hummus, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat gas or charcoal grill. Combine 1/4 cup of cheese, olives, and vinaigrette dressing in a small bowl; refrigerate covered.
  • Combine ground beef, oregano, and the remaining 1/4 cup of cheese in a medium bowl. Form the mixture into 8 patties of equal size.
  • Place the patties in a grill basket and grill over medium heat with the grill covered. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, turning once, until a meat thermometer inserted into the center of the patties reads 160°F.
  • Place the patties on the bottom halves of the buns and add a dollop of cheese mixture on top of each patty. Spread hummus on the top half of each bun and then place the bun halves over the cheese mixture.
