Grilled whole onions, seasoned and wrapped in foil, are a perfect appetizer or side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 4 large onions
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 4 cubes chicken bouillon
Instructions:
  • Preheat the grill to medium heat and give the grate a light coating of oil.
  • Peel the outer layer off the onions, slice a small section off one end of each onion, and hollow out the center. Stuff each onion with a bouillon cube and 2 tablespoons of butter. Seal the top, wrap in foil.
  • Grill the onions over indirect heat until tender, then cool and chop into bite-sized chunks. Serve in a dish with all the flavorful juices.
