Whip up quick and tasty peanut butter and banana sandwiches in just 15 minutes with 5 simple ingredients. Ideal for a satisfying dinner option.
Ingredients:
  • 8 slices English muffin bread
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 2 medium bananas
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
Instructions:
  • Spread 4 slices of bread with creamy peanut butter. Slice ripe bananas and layer them on top of the peanut butter. Complete the sandwiches with the remaining slices of bread. Finish each sandwich by spreading approximately 1 teaspoon of butter on the top slice of bread.
  • In a skillet, lay the sandwiches with the buttered sides facing down. Spread the remaining butter on the top bread slices. Cook on medium heat for about 4 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown. Flip the sandwiches and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until both sides are golden brown and the peanut butter is melted.
