Grilled pear dessert - sweet and succulent!
Ingredients:
  • 3 firm large ripe pears
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 package (10 ounces) frozen raspberries in light syrup, thawed and undrained
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons hot fudge sauce, heated, if desired
Instructions:
  • Prepare the grill for direct heat. Peel the pears, cut them in half lengthwise, and remove the cores. Lightly brush them with oil. Grill the pears, cut sides up, uncovered, about 4 to 6 inches from medium heat for around 10 minutes, turning them once after 5 minutes, until they are tender.
  • Once the pears are grilling, combine raspberries with syrup and lemon juice in a blender or food processor. Blend on medium speed, pausing to scrape the sides, for about 30 seconds until smooth. Strain to remove seeds, if preferred.
  • Serve warm pears topped with raspberry and fudge sauces drizzle.
