Grill a delicious white pizza in under 30 minutes using prepared pizza dough.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1 pound prepared pizza dough
  • 8 slices fresh mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
  • In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium-high heat. Saute garlic until fragrant, around 30 seconds; then add cream. Stir in 2/3 cup Parmesan cheese until smooth. Allow Alfredo sauce to cool to room temperature, approximately 15 minutes.
  • Preheat a gas grill on High with all burners for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Cut the pizza dough in half. Shape each half into an 8 to 10-inch disc. Lower the flame on half of the grill burners to Low to create varying levels of heat.
  • Place the dough discs on the grill over direct heat one at a time. Close the cover and grill until the bottom is lightly cooked with char marks, for 1 to 3 minutes.
  • Rotate the crust ninety degrees without flipping it over. Grill until light grill marks appear on the crust, for 1 to 3 minutes.
  • Place pizza dough on the cooler side of the grill. Spread Alfredo sauce over the dough. Place four slices of mozzarella cheese on each crust. Sprinkle the remaining 1/3 cup of Parmesan cheese evenly over the pizzas.
  • Grill until the cheese is gooey and bubbly, approximately 3 minutes. Remove the pizza from the grill with care.
  • Preheat the broiler. Broil the pizza until the cheese is golden, for about 5 minutes. Let the pizza rest briefly before slicing into wedges.
