Grilled salmon with a savory-sweet soy-brown sugar marinade for a delectable pairing with rich fillets.
Ingredients:
  • garlic powder to taste
  • 1.5 pounds salmon fillets
  • lemon pepper to taste
  • 0.33333334326744 cup soy sauce
  • 0.33333334326744 cup brown sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup water
Instructions:
  • Coat salmon fillets generously with zesty lemon pepper, aromatic garlic powder, and a pinch of salt for a burst of flavor.
  • Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and vegetable oil in a small bowl until sugar dissolves. Place fish in a large resealable plastic bag, pour in the sauce, seal, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • Prepare your outdoor grill by heating it to medium heat and gently oiling the grate.
  • Lay salmon on the hot grill, and remove marinade. Grill salmon until it flakes with a fork, approximately 6 to 8 minutes on each side.
