Indulgent shrimp and chicken pasta in a rich wine sauce with juicy grilled shrimp and chicken - a decadent and comforting meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 0.125 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 pound linguine pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.5 cup white wine
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces shrimp
  • 3 tablespoons grated Romano cheese
Instructions:
  • Combine garlic powder, poultry seasoning, cayenne pepper, white pepper, and onion powder in a small bowl. Then, separate the spice mixture evenly into two parts.
  • In a small skillet, gently melt butter over low heat. Blend in cream, milk, and half of the spice mixture, stirring gradually. Simmer over low heat, stirring often, until the sauce slightly reduces and thickens to your liking. Take off the heat and set aside.
  • Heat the grill on high.
  • While waiting, heat a large pot of lightly salted water until it boils. Cook the pasta in the boiling water until it is al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, warm olive oil. Stir in wine and the remaining spice mixture. Add chicken breasts and cook until no longer pink in the center and juices run clear, about 16 to 20 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Prepare grill by lightly oiling the grate. Grill shrimp until they are slightly opaque, about 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Plate each succulent chicken breast over a nest of linguine, adorned with savory grilled shrimp. Delight in the velvety cream sauce generously spooned over the top, and finish with a sprinkle of Romano cheese for the perfect finishing touch.
